engine rebuild

i got this parts car with an engine on it, the engine looks really dirty but i was wondering what do i need to to rebuild my engine to mint condition ) like new )

i went to shopsubaruparts. and found this "Overhaul gasket set, svx - 3.3l, svx - 3.3L, SVX" does this include all the gaskets needed for engine rebuild?

beginer level lol sorry if that was a stupid questionm but i dont know mechanical terms, like "overhaul" gasket kit, whats that?

The gasket set allows you to replace all of the seals and soft parts while rebuilding an engine, but doesn't include anything mechanical. For a proper rebuild to like new condition it's going to take a lot more parts and a LOT more money. New crank and rod bearings, new piston rings, rebuilt block and heads, timing belt, water pump... blah blah blah. Lots of work.

Machine work :Turn/regrind the crank . Hone the piston walls or bore them out,,Valve job. , plane the heads (not always necessary ) and what he said above . I rebuilt 5 motors and it is a lot of work and money.

That kit includes more seals/gaskets than you'll ever want to change at your level (eg. valve seals). I would sooner use it, if you need it now, and fix stuff as needed.
