SVX Racing Sports

I picked up today a 92 SVX with a plate on the rear truck, a letter R on both front fenders and on the intake manifold there are two decals that read high performance. Did Subaru make such a model? Thanks Bill.

here are the pictures. It wouldn't be the first time I have seen that a manufacture made just a few selected cars with different options.

No such beast was ever made of the SVX by Subaru.

Do you have a plastic intake manifold cover?

Re: SVX Racing Sports

The 24 valve H-6 part was cut out of an intake cover that covers the throttle body. The racing part was hacked off another car....not the prettiest work but I have seen worse. I would yank it off. "Legit" it is not.
