The Starion/Conquest was another car that I really liked back then. I think it was that aggressive flairing of the fenders and the sharp angles that I liked so much. I still like them to this day. I think a recently saw one in a segment of Topgear in which they raced it against a few other beat up old cars.

lol i will have to race my bro when i get my new toy but in the mean time, love the conversation goin on here lmao those cars are pretty fast and are really cool IMO, to bad not many of you have actually seen them..they would fall in the SVX catagory of rare and unheard of

but yes im looking forward to beat my bro with my tank lol

The conquest was my first car. I had a flat body, non intercooled turbo version. It was fast compared to many friends cars in 1997. If your brother has a TSI in good condition, I think it will be a tight race towards the end. The SVX is faster than my non intercooled version as far as I remember.

I have been no help to your question, I await the outcome.
I miss my conquest, I got it because I couldnt afford a SVX!
