Euro grille, I like it.

I just installed the euro grille that I bought from motorsport warehouse.
After painting it to match,(ebony) I finally had a chance between rain storms to install it.
I think it made a big difference in the overall look of the car. Maybe more aggressive.
I also like the larger opening to the radiator.

Re: Euro grille, I like it.

Grille looks great. Funny, I was just thinking how much I like the darker wheels and never see them in good shape anymore.

That's what it's called on the motorsports warehouse website.

Re: Euro grille, I like it.

I think the 97 grill (euro grill) is a much better option that the original fake light.

I have one on my 92 ebony, so I may be bias.

Re: Euro grille, I like it.

I agree that motorsports warehouse website is not the cheapest place to buy toys for your SVX, but he does a decent amount of stuff.

I wonder what makes his $185 euro grill better than just buying a 97 grill from subaruparts for $142.

Mine had the new grill on it when I bought it.
Previous owner said it was same price as the other grill, So when he needed to replace it he opted for the 97.
I'm glad he did, I like it better.

Re: Euro grille, I like it.

The part number for the 1997 Front Grille assembly is 91065PA050NN.

Dayle calls it the "Euro Grille" but it's also known as the "97' grill."

It lists for $185.25 on subaruparts.com but it sells for $141.16.

Subaruparts says they are available, but not in stock. It would take about 7 days to get one.

Re: Euro grille, I like it.

my silver has a 97 grill, was on the car when i bought it and i love it. All of my other svxi have the early grill. Definitely like the 97 grill better. Gives the car a less dated front end and is much cleaner looking.
