I had no idea that the OE subaru center caps fit those wheels so well. That is fantastic. I figured one would have to fill in the dodge text, and re-paint the black center caps that went with those wheels. Although, I have to say, I'd prefer if they were swept the other direction. (looking torque-twisted like the stealth pic, rather than clawing forward, like the SVX pic.)

I can easily mount swept-back, as the excellent TOYO TIRES VERSADO LX Luxury Touring tires are non-directional, only marked outside Mounting forward was more fun at the meet, the illusion is persuasive The wheels are very heavy, not a performance upgrade other than touring, the wide 235/45/17 TOYO VERSADO LX plus the wider, larger diameter wheel is heavy, the combination weighs 15 pounds more than an SVX wheel with '97spec 215/55/16 tire. I'm very impressed with the wheel work by PHENIX WHEELS, The ride is the best I've had on an SVX, after a recent 800 mile, mountain/valley trip with another set of 235/40/18 TOYO TIRES VERSADO LX on 07 SC wheels (car pictured in Black JDM thread), I didn't want to get out of the car.

Thanks for asking , I'll just keep repeating, TOYO VERSADO LX LUXURY TOURING, Thanks for another opportunity to say: TOYO TIRES Honestly, I'm more than impressed with the tires. After the meet, Jon needed to get back to Santa Barbara (up the coast). He drove us [2 hours] in the Pearl LS-L to SB, I drove back. He said the car with 235/40/18 Versados was 'a dream' to drive compared to his Silver. I explained that the Bridgestone STI summer tires were going to feel like a tractor on bad road, that hi-perf summer tires were not touring tires Now that he understands the difference, he likes the 'B-stones' even more And driving my LS-L Pearl this weekend, he seems addicted to the Power button, and that funny wide-ratio box ___

I too, like Toyo tires. I have a set of T1-Rs on the Miata that do a great job, the SVX came from california with a set of those, as well, but they were somewhat shagged out. She now wears a set of Michelin touring tires, and it is very nice. I may check out the Versados, or maybe Toyo's sport-touring Proxes 4 the next time the Legacy needs new shoes, too. The General Exclaims are wearing faster than I would like, especially considering the Legacy wears snow tires for almost half the year. Quote:
I wish I had the money for a really nice, fully sorted, 6-speed-swapped, great-condition SVX to save for road trips, special occaisions and nice days, and maybe to take to meets or small car shows, every once in a while. My current car is a bit worse for the wear, both on the paint, and the leather upholstery, and wasn't set right after an accident sometime earlier in it's life, but is a very nice daily driver to use an not worry too much about. I still quite enjoy the drive. From the pic here, the wheel looks fantastic, in terms of the quality of the re-finish. They seem to have done quite a good job.

Re: Any Other "Uni-Directional" Wheels??
One other thing should be mentioned,
The sidewalls on the TOYO TIRES VERSADO LX Touring Tires seem much stiffer than I thought they would be. This is apparent in driving, and in the excellent steering response. Actually, I thought if there would be any downside, it would be in response . The tire is sporty and responsive, I am impressed. The students at UTI, Universal Technical Institute, had a challenge mounting the tires, due to sidewall strength, even using the best touchless HUNTER EQUIPMENT. To achieve the OEM look of a Subaru upgrade, directional wheels are it The weight tradeoff is okay, considering the application on a JDM car that I want to retain the '90s Japanese car look. As for the 18s on 07 SC wheels, I wanted and feel that I achieved a more modern look.
