Haha, when my capacity went from 400 to 200, my storage reached capacity. I sent Paypal, then tried to PM to notify, but, guess what, no-can-do, storage capacity problem

PS. When I used the link provided in this thread, I didn't see the option to 'gift'. To be safe, per SVXCESS, I closed the Paypal link, went directly to Paypal, signed in, SEND MONEY, PERSONAL, GIFT, then inserted the address: svxwn.paypal@svxwn.com. Hopefully, no fees charged to Chris.

I didn't see this post until I got an message on a totally different site. lol I don't go into general forums hardly ever - heck I only get on the laptop for personal things late at night (if I don't fall alseep first).
An email notice, which I don't think would have been difficult to send out, would have been really appreciated on jan.1st. It's not like we are a big and impersonal group.
Sorry for being late, I'll paypaled all I could ($75). Time and memory get the better of me sometimes.

Same thing happened to me I'm PM Earl, but my PM box is full due to it's capacity being dropped...

I've got to be honest here fellas. I did not foresee this problem with the messages getting maxed, as I have large capacity myself as an admin.

No doubt Earl missed it as well. Please accept our apologies, it was not intentional.

Melissa was totally correct when she mentioned an email. We should have emailed badge holders to remind them of the deadline. [And we would have had we foreseen the problem ]

Next time around we will be wiser. We'll sort the current problems as soon as it is possible.

Thanks Joe. I missed several pms today for issues regarding my engine build and my car - which I was eagerly awaiting responses. Since I don't know their emails, I am just waiting til I can pm again. (I wished I had given them my email!) I would delete PMs except many pertain to engine build advise or purchases so I don't want to lose them.
Sorry, I just don't come into the general forum very often.... maybe once twice a year. I'm setting my record right now though!

I am very sorry that the PM number maxed out when I did that. I tried to make the announcement via this thread, but I will PM members next year. I didn't think of that fact about the PMs. I am sorry it this messed up anybodys account.

The next question is - do they come back when I reset it to what you had?

I reset some of your badges to what you had before, so when you send in a donation, please PM me with the amount. Chris has been busy and I don't always get the amounts very quickly. If you send me that amount, I will get you the badge as soon as I can.

Thanks for all of your support and the amounts coming in will cover our new software and some additional storage blades.

Ad hoc solution.

I think it would be good to restore the badge of anybody who posts here saying they sent payment, or who sends a PM or email that money or PayPal has been sent. Just for this cycle to rectify a current problem. Take it on trust for now.

If the money does not turn up we can PM the members later and see what happened.

I know it's not the business like way to do it, but this whole forum is founded on trust and respect.
