Veterans Day Kudos

Thank You.

To all of you, and all of us. Making the commitment is not easy, and neither is living with it. Sometimes we have had to endure the hate that springs from misunderstanding why things are done the way they are.
One thing to be remembered is that, without the decisions {sometimes questionable} that have been made, and the actions that have needed to be taken, our way of life in these United States would be unrecognizable from the one that we do have.
Thank A Vet Today. You really do owe it.

Re: Veterans Day Kudos

Thank you to all who have served, all who do, and all who have given the full measure of devotion.

You all defend the rights, liberties, and freedoms of the people, enumerated in the Declaration of Independence, and the US Constitution, and your sacrifices continue to motivate me to speak in defense of those rights, as a civilian, which is a shadow of the devotion that the military heroes have given.

I pray that all the sacrifices of those who serve have not been, and will continue to not be in vain.

Thank you, again.

And, BTW, The wounded and fallen soldiers at Ft. Hood deserve to be awarded at least Purple Hearts. This is a battlefield, and it is no different than our soldiers being attacked on their bases in theaters of battle. The US has become a theater of the battle against jihadist terrorists, whether the government wants to admit it or not.

Thank you for the last statement. I agree with all of your post, but especially the last. US soil IS and continues to be a theater of battle.

I echo the fact that we should all thank a VET as well as the folks who are currently serving, for what they have done and what they stand for.

You may not always see scars on them that are visible, but most have scars that will never be seen. Thank You
