how many people painted their waterfall grill the color of their car?

I did, I have a silver. I used Plasti-kote aluminum engine paint.

I have painted mine black too, becuse i have the eyebrows on the car.
and its look little stupid whit out.

Not really colored it but sprayed clear-coat and it looked like brand-new

How do I get the grill off?
I can see the two plastic hangers on top, but it is like there are somthing else holding it.

yup 2 clips on the top, you might wanna use some small flat head screwdriver and plyer to push those out...but don't break those plastic clips like i did.
And just gently pull the grill up.
