I owned a 93 Probe GT in college, and now I have an SVX.

Funny how those old ads concentrated on actual performance. things like 24 valve engines, and automatic valve lash adjustments, and torque figures.

On the real TV I just saw a Kia Forte ad that talked about how sleek it was, and that it had bluetooth... and it was a cameo for the cops from the show "Psych."

How the standards of automotive knowledge by the general public have fallen.

Funny how the world works, I as well use to own a probe, a 91 GT, got to love factory turbo! You had motor trend's car of the year there! Slow year anyone?

I can't believe they aired that, it was awful! No wonder they couldn't sell the car. All the talking was odd...

Incidentally, when I was first shopping for cars in highschool it was between a probe and an SVX. I LOVED the svx, but it got sold before I could get my deposit in on it. So, I ended up buying the probe which I never regretted, and I still have! Then, two years ago I was driving by a used car lot one night and saw the SVX sitting there. I went to this place the very next day and bought it!

Looooong story short, I figured out that the SVX I now own is THE car that I drove in highschool. Not one like it, but the exact same car. So a random post like this is uber cool for me!
