Cheese, Nick!

I just read this thread for the first time. I don't hang around the Tech Section much. Good grief, what a cliffhanger! I am so happy things worked out for you. I was afraid that I wouldn't get to see you in Indiana this year (since AutoFest is apparently out of the question.). I assume I'll get to meet Amber (?) this time?

One thing more: My SVX (w/tranny) is right now at 131,472.
What, me worry?

I have you beat by about 200mi right now. I didn't realize that anybody else had their original transmission for so long. Or I had forgotten. Oh, well. You'll probably surpass me easily since I put few miles on the SVX now.

Yes, my trophy wife will be along. She's a little irritated that the meet is happening over her birthday weekend (she celebrates her birthday weekend, birthday week and even birthday month), but did mention last night that she was looking forward to seeing the familiar and meeting the un. Familiar.

Perhaps you will recall; Sharon's and Sherri's birthdays took place during AutoFest last year. It can be touch and go (especially when they know they're trophy wives, like ours). Let's treat her nice.

Autofest will be on Shari's birthday again this year. Two years ago, we were on the road to Vermont on her birthday (Which Colin Riley's [montypython] wife shares.

The past two years, Reading II and Iii were held on my Son's birthday. He wasn't happy. He's made me swear not to be away on his 16th.

I guess we should find something to do the end of February, so's my daughter's birthday will come into play.

That's right, but Irene is getting used to having her Birthday interupted:

2000 - Travelling to Vermont
2001 - Watching practice for F1 GP at Indy
2002 - The day of the race this year.
2003 - The day after the race next year - we'll be travelling home.

I've managed to brainwash her to the point that she thinks these are Birthday treats for her I can say that because she doesn't read the forums - and nobody's going to tell her, right. RIGHT

BEE-HAVE!

I might warn you that whoever wins her hand will have to put up with me on (probably) a daily basis. That fact alone is enough to make the poor child an old maid.

haha oh yeah, she's YOUR daughter! Which means you'd be taking my svx, and turning it back into 100% stock!!!

plus you'd probably kill me if I modify her at all

Just as sure as there'll be an SVX tranny die, in the next week.

Just wanted to bump this back up

I assume you and Amber made it home OK Nick? I also assume you took her out for a nice birthday dinner, right?

Hope the trans and the trip went OK for you.

Todd
