How hard would it be to do this?
Is it possible to add the door lock switch that comes in the later years, into a 92? Dont think Ive ever heard this asked, and since ill be getting a 92 soon, just thought I would ask. I like the switch there, but how hard would the wiring be?
Subaruparts has the switch for $25, but I dont see the wiring anywhere... Anyone? http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/atta...6&d=1204473841

It's easy. I did it in mine. It's been a while, but IIRC I just tapped into +12 and the drivers side door lock.

Hmm, sounds easy enough. Just would have to run the wire across somewhere. Did you use the exact switch that came in the 94+ models? Or did you use some aftermarket switch?

Did you also get the wiring harness? Or just the switch? Im not sure what the switch actually looks like on the bottom..

Yeah, I cut the harness about two inches below where it meets the switch. Then just spliced into it.
