Subaruparts.com down?

I'm trying to get onto subaruparts.com to do some research and all I can get is "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". Anyone else having trouble getting onto the site? I'm also trying 1stsubaruparts.com, but their system is much more limited as far as the info it provides. Half of the rear suspension components are just called "SVX".

When I checked it earlier today....

they had their web page up that they use when they are working on the SVX.. STi page that we need all the time. Don't think there is a worry it should be temporary.
That happened to me once before and I went down there to the dealer (I live in Tacoma)

If you click on "OEM Parts" at the top left, then "parts lookup," you're taken to a page called "Autocenter.net", with a breakdown of parts categories, but apparently no more diagrams. No photos nor illustrations, nothin'. Select a part category and you get sub-categories, and so-on. And when you finally get to where you're going the list isn't SVX-specific. (There are 10 other Suby applications on the page for an SVX radiator.) Annoying. I think I'll just start phoning-in my orders.

AutoCenter.net

I just pushed myself through this new site and placed an order.

First, Start here:
http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...&siteid=214857
Select your make, model and year.
This will take you to a familar, but different from the better subaruparts.com catalog.
It won't be easy. I found the front wheel bearing and seals listed under 'brakes', in the collision catalog.
There are diagrams when you get to the details of the final grouping.
In this case, most of the parts details were listed under 'front hub'.
There is no indication of stock/shipping status, which is a real step backwards.

Prices are still discounted from list, which is what my local dealer charges. Last couple of times I checked at Liberty's site, they didn't even show the prices.

Not good, but still the best option I know about, for me.

It's different, but they have most of their SVX stuff, just gotta use the search.

will work for us

when you get the part chosen there is an illustration button that looks good to see if it is what we are looking for!
I think it is a winner and it is here to stay!

Just Great

HELLO

I finally buy an SVX and now its going to be more difficult to get parts. Its already bad enough that I live in Canada and the parts already cost twice as much in our dealers when compared to the US retail prices. Thats life I guess, Hopefully I wont need parts for a long time.
I wonder if the have a feed back section. Perhaps if we bombard them with feedback on how we like the old system better they would consider keeping it up as a separate link or something. Kind of like windows where you had the new look but one can opt out for the classic view. Since they had it up before the work to build it was already done. Not a web host-er thus I am not sure if it would be that simple. Its like Ebay. They just changed the look and navigation of Ebay Motors and I hate the new search engine/system. I spend a lot less time there now. You need to know more of what you are looking for rather than just looking at a brand and/or year as before.
