Steel brake line leaking, HELP!!!

I just installed new rotors and pads, even painted the calipers and stuff. As we were bleeding the brakes, a steel line that runs across the rear from the drivers side caliper to a junction (which I can't see) popped a leak right at one of the clips that secure the steel line(s). I have traced the line forward from near the caliper, but then it tucks in above (the rear suspension cradle?) and disappears behind the gas tank filler neck/hose. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Is there a pre-formed line available or should I just try to put a joint in there with a new brake line? Do you have to remove the gas tank filler hose and ? or what? (AND HOW,If needed?) I had hoped to be finished with the brakes and was scheduled for the muffler shop tomorrow, but it looks like I'm in trouble with the brake line, so who knows when I'll be ready Anyone??

The line of which you speak ends in front of the RR wheel at a two in, two out, junction block.
Replace it with all new lines that you can carefully bend yourself with an inexpencive tubing bender.
Make sure the lines are secure when you are done.

Thanks Files, I did manage to follow things out and sure enough, what you said was right where it took me! (The two-in/two-out junction block) Yea, I have a tubing bender and by the looks of things, this one is going to be REAL FUN. I've got the caliper end loosened, and at least the forward end seems to be in an easily accessed area, but I'm thinkin it'll be quite a job getting the bends made correctly. For a while there I thought I might have to drop the fuel tank, and if so, I was going to get the sender working properly. (Shows full when full, reads properly 'till around 1/2 tank, then drops to nada. The low fuel warning works properly.)
O.K., It's back to the garage and see what can be done. Thanks for your help. If in Pittsburgh area, I 'll buy you a beer Al

You can get to the sender without dropping the tank.

Open the back seat trunk access and remove the screws holding the trunk carpet to the back seats. Under that carpet is a large oval cap held down with 4 (?) screws. Under that you have access to the tank to get to the pump and sending unit.

not sure if you started the project already, but you can just cut the line off where it is leaking add a fitting and junction and a new section of brake line
