More Bad Luck......

The unthinkable has occurred. I will not be attending the 10th anniversary meet. I have a tradeshow that I must attend that runs the exact dates as the meet. I am disgusted........

Now, all the other stuff you've gone through, Leo, has made me sad. But this plumb pisses me off. Who do I need to call?

Is that a Louisville, KY tradeshow? Just curious because there are some people here at work going up there during the same time.

Oh, and furthermore, you can tell them I've changed my mind about showing off my "Rad Pack" to the Safety Director of Alcoa and the HR Director of Continental Tire.

i could have swore that the damn meet was in june!

it is the louisville lawn and garden expo.

randy you would not believe some of the new glasses we have now. i have a pair of glasses called Cobalts that look like Ray Bans. Cost is about $10. They come in blue and black frames and grey polarized lenses. I have a pair in my SVX right now.

you can not believe how seriously disappointed i am that i can not be at the meet..........f_ _ _ me!

Leo, lets say you were driving to this trade show by way of indiana, and your transmission "suddenly died". Then say, for example, you knew that you could get a new one installed by monday (the 22nd of july) and be back at work on time. Perhaps that would be a good solution to this little dilema?

Funny, you *would* come to Kentucky when I'm going to be in Indiana.

Are the cobalts on your website?

I've been wearing the hell out of my "safety shades." The smokes are great for those sunny days. On overcast days, I slipp off the temples and install them on my Ambers -- makes for a Sunny Looking day. I save the mirrors for "Sun shining off the snow" days -- although we haven't had many of those. The "wraparound" style is great for driving with the sunroof open. On my old sunglasses, the sun came in through the sides when the sunroof was open -- not any more. Couldn't be more pleased.

Well, I'm sorry you can't be there. But if you stop by the Kensun table (motorcycle helmets) you'll probably see some people who at least *know* someone with an SVX...kinda like an indirect mini-meet

I don't suppose your co-worker is one of those nice people that would cover for ya? I was planning on just drifting up for Saturday and coming back that night...
