Ultimate Cheap Fixes...

I picked up a '95 LSi this week. Of course it had droopy visors (now fixed), and I found that the previous owner had been holding them up with a popsicle stick jammed into the headliner molding on one side, and a plastic fork on the other! Talk about a cheap fix!

Anyone have any other super-cheap fixes, for visors or anything else?

Visor Fix

I just placed small, strong magnets on the top of my visor and a small metal plate on headliner. Works great and still lets me put CD's, tissue cases or whatever I want on my visors. Cheap fix.

I had an unsightly chip in my windshield...I fixed it pretty easilly by driving with my eyes closed
On a serious note..I needed a few minor pieces for my tan interior that I only had in grey..So I went to Home Depot and had them use their fancy colormatch computery thing. A few coats of paint later, and nobody is the wiser. I actually got the correct tan parts later on, and held them side by side, and asked people which one was the right color...Most pointed to the home depot special
Just a note...I wouldnt do this to any interior bits that get touched, scraped, or handled alot, as the paint doesnt adhere too too well
