Need some insight
Well it's been a couple weeks since the pearl was torn into. But now I get a CEL the code that comes up is #37, Left hand O2 sensor. It only comes on after driving at a constant RPM on the freeway. I already have changed the o2 sensor and still I get a code. What else could be fouling up? Could it be my cats going out? Low AFR?
If it helps, I also use NGK #7 plugs, just one temp cooler than the stock #6s. Could this have anything to do?

are there any exhaust manifold gasket leaks or leaks around the precat area?

I'd look for soot or something before replacing them. Also check the torque on the nuts that hold the exhaust manifold on - could be something simple like that. Also I'd check the torque on the bolts on the intake manifold and intake runners on that side of the engine.

I'll have to check that. I do know when we did the swap Tom pulled off the pre-cats at the headers and I didn't buy new gaskets. I'll also check the tourque on the intake Mani since we also took that off for painting. Just one more thing I forgot to mention in the original post. Sometimes when I start up the Pearl a cloud of smoke comes out the back but nothing more than that.

It could be bad. Or it could be as simple as bad gas or a leaky injector.

I'll have to get her up in a stand and look. Would having an ehaust leak allow condensation in the exhaust?

condensation will build in your exhaust overnight anyway regardless of leaks... he does bring up a good point about the injectors though. You said your gas mileage had gone to crap as well... This may be because you are washing out one of your cylinders due to a leaky inector. This may also be causing you to burn oil as well.(sometimes oil burning is white... I cracked a head in my old 94 and it was burning huge clouds of white smoke) When you wash a cylinder it removes all glaze off the inside of the cylinder and actually allows some oil to keep up and in... hence your smoke on startup. So check your injectors and see if one is not cycling properly or if there is an O-ring thats leaking
