Bulletin for PDA owners.

For all you PDA owners out there using their PDA's as dust magnets:

Dust it off, get a wifi card if it's not built in, get a cheap wifi router/access point if you don't have one already, and get a 2.5mm to red/white audio cable.

These crappy devices work great as a internet webcast/shoutcast receiver hooked into your home stereo system.

Tune in to what genres you enjoy and listen to commercial free music.

i  my PDA now!

Oh yeah, GSPlayer is free and works well. My PDA has been running for about 10 hours now and there's nothing like random good music without commercials playing through teh crib.

you know, i've owned pda since they first came out. like a sucker, i buy new toys when they come out. i've never been impressed with any of the pdas i've owned (about 3 now) or seen on the market.

but for some strange reason i got another one...the hp 4355. hopefully this one will be fun to use, then again i thought the same about the other ones.

at least it was only $50 versus $500 for the other ones i've owned before.

I still have my original 1st generation Palm Pilot. 512K still holds a lot of text

I don't use it anymore, but its a great conversation piece.

My phone has all the PDA features I could want. GPRS Internet, SSH client, rdp over SSL, Email (SSL IMAP), web browser, of course all the regular photo contact, calander, tasks crap. The best feature is the Bluetooth modem. I just leave the phone on my belt, click two buttons on my laptop and I have full, unfiltered Internet access without wires! I connects at 115K, but with compression, I've gotten 140Kbps. Not bad at all for when you are sitting in a parking lot trying to look up something on Mapquest

I refuse to go back to a regular phone after my PDA phones. There's just too many software apps I can get on a PDA that I can't on a phone.
