Why you want 19" wheels? I guess nobody attempted more than 18". Above that your SVX will look like a truck
Just go with 18 X 8

He had 18x8 on his old SVX. I think he just wants to push the size limit.

There are people with 19's on their SVX but not that wide I believe.

yea i had 18+8 before and wow was it a tight fit but the rears had room for a bit wider,

all the rims i really like are 19"+8.5 im just curous if any one has gone that wide and big?

i plan on lowering springs from dayle also so it wont have the 4+4 look to it,

well i did some research and found this

http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/show...light=wide+rim

intresting stuff, they talk abought 19+9 or 18+s sticking out too much but what abought 19+8.5 rims?

these are the ones im looking at as you can see the smallest width they offer is 19"8.5

http://www.axiswheels.com/wheels/hiro/hiro.html

http://www.axiswheels.com/wheels/milano/milano.html

my 2 top choices soo far, i idealy i would like 19+8.5 rear and 19 7.5 in the frount, with the staggered off set look,

has any one hear ever ran 19"s and whats the max width you used?

Thanks. I'm buying a car that's in Michigan and I may look into having it shipped to VA. Which company did you get that quote from? You can post here or send me a PM.

Thanks James.

Would a staggered offset work propery on an AWD car? My first guess is that the AWD may get screwy with the different grip levels.

It would be quite difficult to get identical rolling circumferences front and back, and that would screw with the AWD. Of course, if it's FWD, you're fine.

Except that big tires in the back of a FWD vehicle are just goofy...
