Wow, I didn't know that. I don't remember my '66 Galaxie having a PCV valve, but then I only had it for a year, and that was about 100 years ago. I do know that the '68 Mustang, which I drove well into the '90s, had no air pump. And now that I think about it, my earlier description of its PCV plumbing was wrong: A hose ran from the breather cap to the air filter housing; the PCV hose went to the intake. (As if any of this mattered...)

ok guys, i changed the pcv valve(had to spend 15 bucks for set of crows foot wrenches) and that seems to have it running better. i don't know about the oil in the intake yet, i'll check it in a few days and see if it stopped.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! the pcv valve fixed it all! no more oil in intake at all and no more oil leaks! ALL GONE!!! thanks for the help guys, would have been hell without ya!
