Estimate

Hi Jerm, I would be looking for a second opinion. While you did not say what was wrong, I can't beleave they would give you a figure like $5000.00. If you drove the car to the dealer then you don't have five grand worth of work. Hope it works out for you and take care, BOBB

Doing the math, I take it this is a '95?
I'll give you $500.00 for it sight unseen provided it's drivable to my house. Think of all the ebay aggravation you'll save!
That's $500.00 in real cash.

I can't imagine any oil leak costing 5k to fix. I can't imagine much of any repair costing that much.

It is a 92 ls-l - pics on his cardomain page.

Depends upon your defination of "have", phil. I hear genuine console lids are no longer in production, making them one of the most sought after SVX parts on the planet. But if the straits are dire, I may be able to let you "have" it for a nominal "fee", as we don't yet know if the color is gray or tan. If it's the wrong color for you, the "fee" may be reduced, but I might throw in a rattle-can of the proper hue at "cost". Let's first see if jerm accepts my more than generous offer. Stay tuned.

Ron.

Ron, PUT DOWN THE BOX -O- WINE AND TAKE A SLOW STEP BACKWARDS!
The car is being sold to me for $600, delivered on a pre-paid car carrier.

Electro,
The deal for the console lid stands as Ron offered, the only change is that it has to be paid for by postal money order sent to me.

What about the can of spray paint? You gonna honor the spray paint?
