True on a flat surface. However, on uneven surfaces, torque steer can be is greater, especially on roads with deep wheel ruts.

P.S. Still would be cheaper though to do a 4 wheel alignment. However, wider rear fenders would look awesome!
No. Tubing is when you cut the inside of the trunk and install 'tubs', which are prefabbed big metal arches. It allows you to have HUGE slicks in the back. Pushing out the fenders requires some finess, but sometimes they do it with a floorjack and between the frame and the sheet metal they just push it out a tad. Then do the bodywork so it looks pretty.

Chiketkd - camber settings

From a while back the settings for the 18s 8s 35 offset fronts and 9s 40 offset rears - fitted to my cars, I found the print out from the wheel guy..for what he set my last car too..

Front
Total toe > +1.1mm [0.6mm left and right] was -0.6mm total
Camber > left -00.94 right -00.64 was ..no change
Castor > left +04.59 left +4.04 was no change

Rear
Total Toe > stock was -1.0mm ..after +2.44mm [1.2mm L and R]
Camber > stock was L -00.80 R -00.90 after ... L -01.94 R - 01.87

Hope this helps

Do a search on " steering axis" under my user name.

Makes sense now. Understood.

Thanks!

Friend of mine, just joking, suggested we roll the fenders in the back to keep my tires from rubbing. I knew he was joking, and I still nearly slapped him. There is simply no way in hell I'm even going to attempt to modify a body panel like that on a car this rare. Sure, the musclecar guys do it all the time. Their cars aren't made outta plastic, either...

In any case, I'll be selling my wheels soon. They're the 17x8 [+35mm] Enkeis off the Lancer Evo VIII. I absolutely love the way they look [very much like the Enkei RS-6, but cleaner] and the fact that they weigh about 3kg each, but they simply don't fit the car. I hope the previous owner didn't pay the $600 each that Mitsubishi asks for 'em...

Neither is your 1/4 panel, it's metal, just like most of the car. And don't try it yourself, have a bodyman do it. That's what I plan on doing..then you can get some serious rubber in there (over 8.5 " of it)

Size does matter. :P
