I have horrible news.

this actually happened a week ago but i am just getting over the shear anger of the incident to be able to write about it.

last weekend i go to get in my car, it is raining, and i see a few lines on the hood? at the time i thought, "damn bird or must be dirt."

the next day it was not raining and i went to get in the car and that is when i noticed. three long scratches of almost six inches in length, all the way to the metal.

needless to say i was, still am, angry as hell.

basically i will have to get the whole hood repainted. they stick out like eyesores.

what the hell is wrong with people when they can justify in their minds scratching to oblivion someone elses car.

especially a car that looks as good as mine (modesty out the window in cases like this).

anyway i am guessing this will cost me close to $700-800.

Oh ugh

What the hell makes people think they have the right to mess with other people's stuff? They apparently think it's RIGHT - if they thought it was WRONG, they wouldn't do it.

That really sucks. If I caught somebody doing that to my car, I don't think I'd have the restraint to keep from harming them and myself in the process.

Hell, I would have little restraint if I saw someone doing that to ANYBODY'S car.

Come to think of it, that's your fault. Yours, Bill's and Steve's. If you guys hadn't planned the AutoFest weekend SVX gathering, I would not have gone. And that means I wouldn't have had an entire weekend of bonding with my car. So I wouldn't have noticed the bubbles.

Oh, ow! Yeah, I would be too. Can't imagine how someone could possibly think doing something like that is in any way justified.

Nah, 'ya gotta blame it on the guy with the big handlebar moustache. He's the one who organized the whole thing.

Glad to be of help. That'll teach you to tell me that one of my tail lights is "dim" and my exhaust is "flatulent."

You know, I've meant to post about that - an apology, actually. I have heard my exhaust, and it sounds like the flatulent noise yours made!

Thank you, Nick. Apology accepted. Nice to share a little "crow" with you.
