no chipped lights here, possible late model fix?

the time is takes to put the clear headlights on is much less than all the B.S. you'll go through polishing them every month - unless you enjoy the exercise. one wipe witth some plastic polish and they are clear as glass (after 6 months so far.)

Hey Lwin, while we are talking about taking lights apart, do you have a write up somewhere for taking about the center tail light?

That's good to know Alan. Even Brian himself was not sure how long his lenses would hold up and stay clear compared to the OEM ones. Good to see they are working out great.

This is the route I will be going as well, especially now that he has matching corner lenses (although I'll have to do some custom fabricating to get the look I want there).

Not yet but I'll do one soon. I have one sitting on my bed.

Doesn't it poke you in the back when you sleep?

I agree but right now I have more time than money. I just had to take a demotion at work so income is a little uncertain. Plus, this will give me the opportunity to practice the lens change. Meantime I'll get clean headlamps.

I would try Germany, but I don't know how much they are.

Sorry, but I couldn't resist.

Nice. but they don't fit the JDM turn signals though.

That's why you have to get the new kit they made to do the corner lights too!

The US corner lights don't look quite as cool with clear lenses as the headlights do, but I plan to experiment with them until I get the look I want. If I pull that off, then I'll buy the clear corner lenses and headlights and sell my JDM corners.

A couple years back someone on here was attempting to order some of the glass ones from Germany. I don't think I ever heard if they got them or not, but I do know it was going to cost a TON of money.

\]

The corners match the stock lights, and look awkward next to the lineless clear headlights.
