Pinion bearing bolts. If you mean the bolts going through the axle shaftside bearing retainers on each side of the case halves and crown gear assembly: 17-20 ft-lb (sec 3-2, page 100)

Pinion shaft/ gear bolt. If you mean the bolts going through the differential case halves and into the crown gear: 43-48 ft-lb (sec 3-2, page 100)

Rear housing section. If you mean the torque converter case: 25-30 ft-lb (page 99)

Front diff section. Not sure what you are looking for here.

Hope this helps.

You took the tranny apart without a factory service manual?

That's brave.

Um, not really.

By pinion bearing bolts,I meant the 4bolts on the pinion gear retaning plate.

By pinion shaft / gear bolt, I meant the one big nut at the other end of the pinion shaft that the gear with the park pin notches are in.

By rear housing section,I meant the part on the back of the tranny that has the center diff in it.

By front diff section, I meant the tourq converter case (25 - 30) Thanks

Why? Taking it apart is the easy part.

It's the putting it back together part thats tricky.

Just swapping in some 4:11 gears to try out in Alacritys car. The tranny is still good, it just fried the pinion bearing.

The big nut you're referring to is a lock nut, and it's 72.3 ft-lb (that's 98 N-m) on one page, 80-87 on another.
I'm not seeing the rear housing section.

Oh I'm already having fun.

Thank for the specs Joe.

THe rear housing section, is the back part of the tranny, the part the tranny mount is bolted to, it houses the center diff and the output shaft for the rear drive shaft.
