It's snowing

Just got back from Lowe's and yes indeed that is white stuff. Had a message that Ski Roundtop is opening tomorrow morning so I guess my free weekends have now ended. There was a SVX in the lot at Lowe's today. It is now the 6th different SVX I've seen there in the past 2 years. It must be some kind of SVX magnet.

New Yokohama AVS dB S-2 Tires in Light Snow

I drove to work this morning in light slushy snow in my 92 SVX. The car has new (less than 1000 miles) Yoko tires. They performed very well. The biggest problem that I had, was seeing. I found out why when I got to work. My headlights were crusted over with frozen slush kicked up by all the trucks in the left lane on the expressway. I wish that Pennsylvanians would learn how to drive in inclement weather.

On a sadder note, my friend at work just bought a beautiful blue brand new 350Z convertible. He had this car less than 7 days and a deer customized his left fender and door. He's OK. The deer was Ok, but the car's in the shop.
The deer had no insurance as usual.

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.

Don't say the S word. I live on a mountain. 2 feet of the white stuff means 5 hours of shovelling.

Cool

6-8" so far (9:00AM) in the western Bawlamer burbs. SVX on the rim & out the door on well worn avs dbs, & no plows in the neighborhood. It sloshed just fine, but of course, I'm an excellent driver. Another 6" expected tonight. Woohoo! three weeks 'til winter.

Ron (Sure - I didn't buy no steenkin' snow plow).
