stupid move of the week

ok I was going up a pretty steep incline and this f350 pickup starts passing (he'd been tailgating) me so I though I would have some fun and punched it can't believe that I can get to 95+mph on this hill left truck in my wake but since I had not put my allweathers on yet I hit the next corner to fast and the car did a snap spin on me boom right into the curb! Darn thats sucks, the guy in the truck passes by and flips me the bird (hmm deserved that) anyway I need a new right rear suspension system the whole thing got bent. Has anybody done this work before and can it be done without alot of special tools

Oh Oh, i did (almost) the exact same thing, just make sure your rear crossmember isnt bent.

i paid 15. someone offered the buyer 16 but i had an earnest money agreement signed so the buyer could not sell until i looked at it. 2 other people were in line behind me to pay the premium should i walk away.

I was not concerned about the price. I was more concerned with the condition of the car and the low mileage. It is extremely difficult to buy a low mileage SVX without a lot of patience and/or luck.

Wow that sucks, I'm sure you feel bad enough already but that has got to make you feel like the stupidest person in the world when you blow someone off only to crash at the next corner and have them drive by laughing at you. Man I feel bad for you at the same time I'm laughing my ass off. (becouse your OK)

there's a first time for everything!!! stupid,stupid and moronic all rolled into one stupid moment... this corner I've taken hundreds of times in the same weather conditions, entry speed just this time I was a little more aggressive on the exit gas and thats when I lost it! Boom I could almost see my ass for a second . I'm still trying to figure out what the lesson of the day was, be grateful and slow down or stupid and keep doing the same thing... I'm slowing down (not just for that corner) I'm to old for this sh#t got kids now got to think about them, I'm not in this world all alone anymore.

Hmm, I think thats whats happend to me, I haven't looped a car since I got my second kid, and I'm down to about 1 speeding ticket a year. I'm doing good.

the lesson is you can beat trucks without ludicrously exceeding the limit.
i had a similar moment yesterday when this truck that had been trying to keep up with me through town was gaining on me on the highway. i acted as if i were going to swerve in front of it. when i let them pass they just looked at me stupid as i waved my finger at them telling them they shouldn't challenge the svx.
i didnt crash but its still stupid.
but i love it.
