sounds to me like your video card can't keep up with the screen refresh at that resolution. Knowing what brand/model video card do you run, speed of CPU, etc., I could maybe help more

A common problem with v9. Just use v8, oops can't be removed. Sorry but you will have to format your HD and reinstall XP.

Check out the video forums, or do a search to confirm.

What hardware are you running, Mike? It's hard to imagine anything recent having an issue like that.

I hit that problem with an Athlon 1600, 512M DDR ram, 80G HD, G-force 3ti graphics. Just seems to be a v9 problem. Video forums are full of the reference.

Make sure you have all your proper drivers. Since you are running an athlon you are most likely running a VIA chipset. You should definitely download the hyperion 4-in-1 drivers if that is the case.

In the bios make sure you have Busmastering on as well. Also be sure your machine is free of spyware as that can drastically slow your machine down. Good luck.

Also check if you have a file called xl.exe on your computer. We have seen problems caused by that file (XtreamLok)
