he respects it alright, he likes to drive it, "as it should be driven". he drives ambulances, police cars, and fire engines...he took offesive and defessive driving classes too...never been in an accident in his life, with one speeding ticket a while back...for like 5 over...he drives like a grandma in the Yukon. he is good at handling large vehicles...

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.

I don't think it's a matter of a bad male/female driver. The issue is that the car doesn't belong to them, they don't have to maintain it, they are curious and want to know what the SVX will do.

Actually I can't say I blame them. I test drove an SVX about 2.5 years ago by myself and ended up taking it over 100mph within 2 miles from the dealership. I did learn though that there was a problem with the tranny/transfer clutches (not caused by me).

I'll agree with Kelli, I'll let a few ambulance drivers that I know drive my car, since they're used to driving fast.

If I let someone else drive, I need to be in the car. That way I can reach over and wring their neck if they hurt my baby.

That doesn't mean they are immune! I have seen ambulances and firetrucks on their side...mind you it doesn't happen very often.

The only people who have taken control of my car since I bought it were my parents only because I know they are not going to abuse it.
