stock suede alcantara?
i was wondering is the stock svx suede is also that Alcantara automotive suede, anyone know?

It's all a variant of a type of ultra-microfiber invented in 1970 by Toray Industries.
Produced by various manufacturers under different names (Alcantara® Ultrasuede™, Ecsaine, Microsuede, etc) It is made from extremely fine polyester microfibers (68% polyester and 32% polyurethane) it has the appearance and tactile feel similar to that of suede. In general, the term used in the U.S. was Ultrasuede, with Alcantara and Ecsaine being used in the European and Japanese markets respectively. ya but now when u look up automotive suede u get alcantara noone ever mentions Ecsaine how does it hold up against UV i'm assuming what is in my car is faded from factory or am i wrong

They have a color that is very close to original. For seats, they also have the perforated style. They sent me samples when I asked.
