dying the grey swuede
Has anyone dyed the swuede on their car? Mine has some spots on the passenger dash and on the doors. I think it could probably be dyed to look good. If it were dyed, my svx would look new inside. Anyone tried this? Thanks.

Re: dying the grey swuede
Haven't heard of anyone trying.
The escaine can be replaced. I don't know how a synthetic would take dye.

Re: dying the grey swuede
Splotchy fabric + dye = darker splotchy fabric.

Re: dying the grey swuede
If replacing, Escaine fabric is now called Alcantra or Ultrasuede. Costs about $85.00 a yard. Gulf Fabrics in Tampa, Florida is one source.
