Daughter needed a car..
I 'posted' a couple YEARS ago about a really sweet car that needed bodywork that I bought from my friend's estate.
WELL< since no one NEEDED it, it sat for (2) years. I gave it to my daughter last week. Cliff put the tires (that I had thrown in the back last year) on the rims, installed a fuel pump, a couple other things that it needed, and DROVE it to my house last nite! My daughter is the latest member of the Subaru family with my 'gift' of a 1996 Outback!! I told my grandson that he was going to 'LOVE' this car! He said that, "I already do!". He had ridden in it about 25 miles by then! WELCOME, April!! Subi spoken here! (She will be a 'member' in a few days)

Re: Daughter needed a car..
Well done. They're a very safe car.
I gave my daughter a '97 Outback several years ago(I got it for free from my sister). Just last weekend we upgraded her (in my opinion) to a '92 Claret SVX. She loved the Outback and so did her friends but the SVX is way cooler to drive. |
