Auckland!!! Beatles are coming..

Hello my Kiwi cousins!

The Beatles Experience (Beatlemania On Tour), in which I play Ringo, is coming to the Bruce Mason Centre, Auckland.

We will be there from the 20th of Jan to the 8th Feb. It is a fully produced show that tours extensively throughout the world.

Please come along, enjoy the show and let me meet my SVX brothers.

I should be able to swing you free tickets if you get in touch with me!

I always miss my SVX when I am on tour and intend on meeting many more owners throughout the world this year!

Please bring your SVX to the show!

havent login for too long,today i hv just started my svx for a ride,
after left it since feb.09,,every time it stared rightaway without
any click click,,,amazing ,ha.(8aug.09used for 3days.),19sept.092hours,
and 28jan10 half hour,25km.)

For the last 5.5year,only used 3 times of 2000km each,3 months,each,
mostly it just sit in garage with batt,out,each time left it for 7-10 months,
several times and every times it stared perfectly.

Amazing.1992,135,000km

I have tried the phone number you provided by PM, but get advice that it is inactive. With the show so close to opening, I am looking forward to another number as promised above.

Damn, I have been unable to attend Mike’s show, as I have wrecked the Archilles tendon in my left foot and can hardly walk.

However my wife Anne has just returned having attended with three friends. She reports the show was brilliant, and Ringo can really play the drums. This news further brassed me off, as I had a very good friend who played drums, and I would have appreciated Mike's skill. I know full well how a good drummer can hold a group together, and can make or break their performance.

But bugger again. ---- on the way home our normally reliable SVX, died on Anne while she was coming home along the motorway. Fortunately a couple of kind blokes stopped and pushed the car onto the side verge. She phoned the AA, and a mechanic arrived. He diagnosed a shot alternator. Evidently several warning light came on just prior, so that only the rectifier unit is involved.

Anne explained the towing issue and a flat bed truck was organised. Absolutely great service. Those in Auckland should call A1 Onegunga Towing Service LTD. They have all the clues and would not have towed an SVX with wheels on the ground.

Mike very kindly signed Anne’s programme, and quite artistically drew a little Ringo’s SVX. Thanks Mike. Anne reckons a gremlin was hiding some place and was upset not to see the show.

Sorry to hear about your foot problem Trevor. Take care of yourself.

Sorry also to hear about Anne's escapade with the SVX. You have her fairly well trained in the engineering field. I expect she wants you to reciprocate in the kitchen!!!

Now that I have had hands on experience, and in view of some controversy, I will be reporting at length on the alternator problem and fix.

It was a real shame that I missed Trevor, but it was great meeting Anne and her friends.
I didn't realise that Anne had the SVX with her. I would have loved to have seen it.

Also, massive thanks to Ian Nutshell, for picking up John Lennon and Ringo and taking us for a blast around Auckland.

I was very impressed by the 4WS and other gadgets that the Australian spec doesn't have!!

I LOVE AUCKLAND.
