Re: Best Reading Ever.

I am still basking in the after glow of the meet! What an event! I am already making plans for and looking forward to Reading XI. This is the highlight of my year. It looks like a great meet to someone who has never attended, but if you experience it, you will never miss another. Thanks to every one who came, and to everyone who helped make this meet happen. It is a one of a kind event. I got an email from Jay (SRRT) this am and this is what he said.

"Hey Earl,

This is Jay from SRRT. I just wanted to inform you that I dropped the pace car back off @ SOA today. They were actually impressed that it came back cleaner than it left! Please let the rest of the members know that she is home safe in all of her glory.

It was a pleasure to meet each and everyone of you at the meet this past weekend. It's the enthusiast like all of you that make Subaru such a great company to be with and gives meaning and life to what we do as a team. Please forward along my thanks and best wishes to the rest of the community and hope to see maybe some of you @ up and coming event. Thanks again

Cheers!"

Re: Best Reading Ever.

Earl, that was a serious stroke pulling off getting the Pace Car to the meeting. Looks like it was appreciated.......

Again I am in regret. I hoped to attend, but imploding economy and financial circumstances said No.

Did you use some kind of special beer for the event? Just wondering, since you got Randy smiling so much, and actually sitting so close to Huck's car.

Oh, for a zebra striped Winnebago!

Joe

Re: Best Reading Ever.

Tired of watching high-speed car chases of stolen Corvettes and Ferraris on the LA Freeways.

That's not driving. Now THIS is driving. Sure sounds like Jeremy Clarkson in the first clip.

Tom, these are for you

Doughnuts anyone??

Who needs AWD? This feat is something out of reach of most SVX's

Speaking of Stolen Winnebagos, did you know there ia a rock group by the same name from kansas? Should we see if we can get them to perform at Reading?

Searh for them on YouTube

Harry, I meant that the narration voice-over in the first clip had a defined British accent that resembled his.
