Question ECU Questins running 5spd

i am wondering what a couple systems do to affect the ecu when running a 5spd (in a XT6)

First. The trinary switch ( i think this is an AC thing, something with the pressure of the system) how does this affect the ECU? idle?

Second. What affect does the A/T COntrol unit have on the ECU? do i need this when running a 5spd?

Third. WHat affect does the AC control unit have on the ECU? I know the ECU swiitches the relay for the Clutch (i have diagrams) but what does the control unit do? (ie Speed up Idle?)

Forth. What does the Security control unit do (it is connected through the same wire that the check connector uses for Code Readout)?

Thanks for any imput. this forum is great!!

Re: ECU Questins running 5spd

Apparently i was not clear in my first post. I am running an EG33 in my XT6, Thus the questions on the effect of the various systems on the ECU.

I know that quite a few of you have 5spd trannys and i hope that those people can give me a little info on this.

Thanks

Re: ECU Questins running 5spd

Ask Huck369 as he has an EG33, 5 speed in his XT. He should be able to answer most if not all questions reguarding this stuff.

Re: ECU Questins running 5spd

Yeah, My car is pretty much a copy of his, with some things done differently (i kept the Locking Center diff) Huck says all the time that he hates wiring, (i have asked him and he will help all he can). But i was just wondering if there were more experienced people here with the ECU (LAN, the Toms) that could give me a pointer on these things.

Thanks for the heads up though.
