Cruise Control problem

My Cruise control does not want to engage. Cruise switch lights up. I can hear the control box click behind the glove box. The fuse is good. Does anyone have any other thoughts about what/where I can check??

Re: Cruise Control problem

Have you checked the vac line under the hood, by the master cylinder?

Re: Cruise Control problem

It looked like it was hooked up. Is there a way to tell if it has vacuum?

Re: Cruise Control problem

Wow, that was simple. the rodents here like to rip out the hood liner for nesting material and leave behind piles of beech nuts.

Re: Cruise Control problem

Glad it was fixed! I've had a mouse nest in the trunk of my car, no damage but still gross to think about.. (Especially since I never found them..)
