Re: horsepower goals...

Just to go further with this topic, does anyone have any figures worth throwing out there. I realize the svx isn't a drag racer, but there's no reason you couldn't improve upon it's performance both low end, and mid. High really isn't that bad, but the low end could def/ be better.

Re: horsepower goals...

tuning the car would make a difference...obviously...intake and exhaust...
you'd get more out of a MT than a auto..
weight reduction....since the car is heavy
maybe some nitro ...meth induction..
forced induction...supercharger...turbo...but it looks like the engine needs a build in order to really push those for real use..compression ratio..

Re: horsepower goals...

I do have a few custom engine parts in my garage that I could be talked out of if your interested in building up the engine.

Forged Eagle rods
Forged CP Pistons (these lower the compression for a boosted engine)
Custom Cams, Valves, and Valve Springs.
Plus I have an entire spare engine.

I got these from ECUTune about a year ago. Everything is still in the box.

Money is tight right now. Thats why I can be talked out of them.
