Reccommended Transmission Specialist, Sydney.

Hey everyone, just had my SVX in for an overhaul:

2 transmission mounts
2 rear diff side seals
1 rear diff rear seal
Transmission service
Power Steering Pressure Hose
Other things which I don't remember now

These guys are pretty big, very nice and did a great job

The bad part about the mechanic was that the bill was $1500


After all that work they still didn't fix that rattle that I get under center storage box when I hit the accelarator from rest... say off the lights.. It's not a loud noise which lasts for about 1 second..... I'm pretty sure it's one of the heat shields... just really annoys me.

McTaff mentioned something about this a while back

I think your noise is the centre bearing carrier on the tailshaft mine is doing the same thing
