Talking Dings repaired, New tranny, Love my car...

Got her back from the autobody shop tonight. Too dark for pics, I'll post some tomorrow, but they did a great job on the two hits I had. Also did the back bumper and the multitude of scratches the tranny guys inflicted on the driver's side front fender. The problem is, that side looks so good, the rest (hood, etc) looks worse!

At the moment I still have half a spare tranny in the trunk that is too heavy for me to get out, so I'm taking the corners slow.... Now if gas would just go down a little...so I could drive a lot more.

I feel your joy as I just drove my car for the first time in 8 months this week.

Had a minute between shifts, so this is all I got.
The new paint is just so nice that I want to do the whole car. The red fleck really seems to show more...or maybe its just cause that side is facing the sun!!
Have to take her back to the body shop Monday as they missed a spot! They took off the Plastic cladding (??) on the bottom of the door to work on it, and forgot there was paint transfer and scratches on it as well
Anyway, they'll do it next week.

Thanks, Rebecca.

I'll try to get a pic that shows the color when the sun hits it...almost black cherry. I'm asking around to see how much to paint the rest. LOL (cause I haven't spent enough money yet)
You don't (or I didn't) realize how much the paint fades in 15 years until you see it new, then its a revelation.

Your car looks great. Ebony is a nice color, but it is hard to keep clean. They are very pretty though.

Yes, the washing every 2 days gets old pretty fast...but I like it clean! And I was thinking a matched set of bookends- '92 Ebony & '97 Ebony - would look great in my driveway
