Ideas on how to get the knock sensor bolt back in..
My driver's side knock sensor was going bad..
I was able to get the old one out, but I cannot get the bolt started to secure the new one in. All I need is to get the bolt started then I will be able to get the rest in with a socket, knuckle and extension. For those of you who have done this, how did you get the bolt started. Thanks Naim

i used some electrical tape to hold the bolt to the socket. and alot of patience (and cursing). and make sure the wire connected to it is not stopping it it from sitting strait.

What "fresh" aid BUT, first take the bolt over to your grinder and chamfer the edge of the bolt thread so that it "falls" into the hole easier!

if your going to grind the bolt be very careful you can mess the treads up pretty easily you can use a old mechanics trick and put a piece of paper over the socket and then put the bolt in that holds them pretty well

Alternator
You don't give much info, but it is easier if you have the alternator out. The most difficult part for me was getting the connector back through the rear of the manifold. It also helps if there are 2 of you doing it.

Yes the alternator was out...
I would disagree that getting the connector through the rear of the manifold. If you use one of the flexible grabby things, it's not bad getting through. Anyways I got everything re-assebled. Now I need to clear the codes. Thanks for the help. Naim
