hmm different those 3tone's, dnt think iv ever seen 1 over here.. mine has a few cosmetic dents and stuff and is in need of a paint, im going satin black

The first and third are closest to how they look to the eye. I'm sure Earl would agree with me.

Photography sometimes darkens the lower panel to a deeper tone than it appears in reality.

Personally I would not respray a car in a radically different colour such as Claret or Bordeaux to Silver. Not unless you respray the complete engine bay and door shuts.

Black to Graphite or Graphite to Black would be OK.

Claret to Bordeaux or Bordeaux to Claret would be OK.

It seriously "cheapens" a car when you lift the hood and a different colour can be seen.

It is lovely OK Earl. I haven't managed to take any good photos of mine yet. It is still having engine work, so the detailing will come later. New glass UK headlamps for one thing!.

They seem to particularly suit the 3-tone.

Generally I'm not too fond of that BBS style; it's a little bit pansy or namby-pamby.

Harvey has them on his Bordeaux, I don't think he liked me calling them "pipe and slippers" rims.
