What tranny temp gauge to get

The more I look around and try to figure out what I need the more I want. Since I'm gonna put in a B&M 70268, Redline ATF, new filters and such I figured I might as well install a gauge. First question is there any easy way to simply lower the ATF Temp warning light on the dash so it would actually come on at a reasonable temp? Second question, does anyone know of a good gauge preferably green digital like the one at Summit racing that you can program to also turn a fan on (it doesn't appear that you can do that with that one). I'm not planning to hook it up to a fan right away but would like that option in the future. Third question, location for the gauge that's least intrusive? I was thinking on the ledge by the drivers side mirror portion of the dash. any other suggestions?

I have the Autometer 2640 tranny temp gauge. Comes with a green bulb sock which matches the gauge lighting very nicely.

I have a couple of pictures in my locker that shows the Dakota Digital gauge that I have mounted between the post and dash. Good luck, and I hope that this might help.

i got a Nordskog digital gauge from Summit Racing for $39. it seems like the analog gauges are a little hard to read. with a digital, you can watch the temp go up or down in 1 degree increments.

its sitting between the pillar and the instrument pod, temporarily connected with wire nuts until my gauge pod arrives in the mail.

tranny temp gauge

I need a tranny temp gauge.
I looked at Dakota Digital those seem nice.. PLus there is one from SUmmit..
I would like add this before the !0th annivers Meet.
maybe I"ll get around to it..

THis may sound a bit odd... But it would be cool if there was just an LCD read out that gave a temp as the fluid enters the coolers ( radiator and Secondary) and leaving..
That way you have a temp of HOW hot things are, and how effective the 2nd cooler is being. Only thing is Gagues take up space... just a small LCD read out would look good and Function well in small areas.
I don't know of where I could get such a set up but I"ll keep thinking up ideas..

Significant Technical Input
Why not use one gauge and a switch to select from multiple sensors?
