Stonguard - the transparent bra

The shape of the SVX seems to make it particularly susceptible to nicks from debris.

3M developed a transparent stick-on bra material that is sold in volume to various companies that die-cut to fit each car. The result is then applied by a skilled person. One such product is called Stonguard, but there are several, and I suspect that all of them trace back to 3M.

The result, as seen on a Porsche the other day, is excellent - even the seam was almost invisible.

Has anyone here seen this? Had experience with it?

I've seen it before. I am going to put that on my headlights after I clean them. I just bought a roll. It's at Doug's House.
