Question Body Parts

I bought mine used from a lady in Oregon.
I guess out there they use cinders on the roads in the winter. Due to winter driving I think the cinders pitted the body molding that slightly flares out just forward of either rear wheel.
They look like they can come off easily.
Has anybody replaced theirs or had them refinished?
I was looking here:

http://www.subaruparts.com/diag/?mod...category=520-1

and the only thing that looks close is #51415(A) but I don't think it's called a sill.

thanks

Are you referring to the plastic cladding?

If so they are 91057PA100 (RHS) and 91057PA110 (LHS)

They have a urethane rock guard that can be replaced separately: 91093PA040 (RHS) and 91093PA050 (LHS). A vinyl sign shop can also make these up for you.

Anything you get at a vinyl shop will be inferior. The OEM is a thick urethane with a very strong adhesive. Stuff from a vinyl shop will quickly deteriorate and become difficult to remove due to it's thickness. It will look the same tho.

Not exactly true. If you use regular vinyl then yes. Some places have stuff used for making an "invisible bra" for the front of cars. I had a shop make one of these for me and the stuff was identical to the stuff that was on my car.

As my gf would say, "Stuff Rox"
