Earl is a professor at a college if I remember correctly. The land he parks his cars on reminds me of University of Tennessee(Knoxville) and their Agricultural Department. May be the same thing up in WA state.

Dunebuggysupply does Vanagon conversions. I emailed him a long time back over a part on eBay he had listed. Friendly guy if I remember. I don't know who he is, but I'm sure he's just trying to make a living. Most of the engines he bids on, no one else even bids.
