I replaced a low-beam bulb recently and am pretty sure it was a 9006.

Question

Is there an atvantage to using 9005's in the low beam socket? I'm guessing higher wattage w/ the same wire harness?

...or am I just gullible ?

Rarely (if ever) is there any advantage to using an other-than-stock anything.

Well then this is an exception. The amount of light you get is such an improvement and it's so worth the time.

Agreed. Putting 9005 in the low beams is awesome. I can now see where I'm going at night (and my headlights are not even yellowed).
