Smile some wrx updates.

wanted to keep my svx freinds updated

tire kingdome has wrecked the front air damm on the car and caused 1,300 worth of damage to the car, went in for a tire patch and the kid hit a curb with it and crack the fiberglass chargeeed lip and scrach the bumper up

the car is getting a 4 piece full body kit now and the extra money left over is going for the UTEC stand alone wich is despertatly needed

now for the kill lists

saleen mustang
modfied gti
srt-4 stage 2 plus reworked factory turbo
corvette c-5
and most recently a z28ss he wasnt too happy

the car is verry strong even at 15 psi. with the utec is whene i plan to really open the car up ,, runing 20 psi on c16 untill i get the fmic then its going to 24 psi and hoping to break the 11s with it,.

the car is runing stock clutch wich i dont think will last much longer and as for the tranny i have not done any hard launches on it at all, all the race i have done has been from a roll.

also planing on doing the injector mod wich will flow 840cc wich should be plenty of fuel

wish me luck guys on reaching the 11 second barrier it wont be easy

If your tranny blows, I've got four full STi RA gearsets looking for a good home. Just got them in about 2 weeks ago.

What your best time now, James? What in the world were they doing driving your car... and breaking it?!? 840cc.... freakin' huge! Can't wait to see it break into the elevens... you should get someone to videotape your runs at track.

Eleven second Subarus.

It's an eleven second Subaru!
That means it can go from zero to 119mph, or so in 11 seconds.
Yes, it's a Subaru. Yes, it's a small Japanize car. Yes, that is VERY FAST!

OK, from a standing position, meaning stopped, it can travel 1320 feet in 11 seconds.
"Why would we want to go that fast"
TO GO AWAY, REALLY REALLY FAST!

well just got back from the track did quite break the 12s tonight i ran 13.00 @ 105 with a 1.80 60' time on low boost wich was at 15-16 on stock injectors

tonight i fried the cluch so a new one is in order,, i need the FMIC bigg injectors and UTEC set for 24 psi to try to break the 11 second barrier not sure if it can pull it off

13.00 @ 105 isn't bad at all on a limping clutch. A new clutch alone should net you a time in the mid 12's...

green it was at 15-16 psi for those runs,, my intent is 24 psi wich is what the turbo was designed for.

if the engine breaks i have some nice internal work i want to do to get mor rpm out of it, 7,000 rpm is not much whene the turbo doesnt spool till 4,500

You should be fine boosting to 24psi with a well-tuned utec. Take short cuts and things will go boom in a hurry...

yeap i could go with the super afc and fcd "fuel cut defender" to cheat around it but still doesnt adjust timing curves .. so thats why utec is needed

but im still impressed how fast this thing really is with such minmum boost levels
