Show off.

Finally figured out how to get a picture of my SVX onto this confounded webpage.

But just to give this post some actual validity and not just a posting for everyone to look at my car (its tough to do that, when everyone your talking to has one too), I have two questions.

1: What do you think of my tint job? the reflective part is mirrored silver in person, matching the paint, dunno why it came out with a blue tinge in the picture. I've never seen anyone with tinting like that, and its what first drew me to the funky windows when I first saw the car last year. Makes it stand out even when next to a bunch of others.. (sad when one wants to stand out in a group of rare cars)

2: How do I size pictures? its oversized, and I am not going to bother putting more stuff in the locker till I get them the right size...

1. Congradulations on the mirror tint, I like it alot. I am particular to silver/black svx myself, your looks great. How much did that cost?

2. Picture was sized right. My internet explore resizes the picture to fit the whole screen.

New Hampshirite

I would never fork out money for tint... to poor, and to much other stuff to pay for... but I did find the bill in the car for $189. The guy kept good records. and I much prefer it with than without. It pronounces the split windows big time. Also lets me distinguish it in a parking lot(like thats a problem with the SVX hahaha)

Keene is like.. way south of me. Colebrook is on the canadian border. But my grandmother lives in Keene, and I was down there just last week. maybe we can plan some mini meet sometime. Rough guess? 3 and a half hours.

yeah, i figured you were pretty far "up"

let me know next time you're coming to town.. i'm the only SVX that i know of, but i've got a couple WRX buddies and my roommate runs a GREAT resturaunt with a big parking lot in front of it.. we could throw together a decent mini-meet..

mirror tint, when done properly can be pretty cool. however if the mirror lines don't exactly line up, it can wind up looking pretty cheap pretty quick. you've got the back mini-window tinted and the front ones are left clear.. i would've left all the "moving parts" untinted for continuity's sake and just tinted the solid glass.

i wonder if you could tint the solid glass nearly pitch black and get away with it legally? it doesn't roll down, but then again, neither does the windshield..

-adam

and yeah jesse, maybe we'll do a resturaunt-and-drive meet this summer... there are some great roads around here once the frost heaves settle out..

Sorry zavikan, but I don't care for the tint.
