Lancaster County Motors Strikes yet AGAIN

After replacing the first wheel bearing that Lancaster County Motors Subaru installed incorrectly, I got a call from the shop doing my 5 speed conversion today that they discovered my OTHER rear wheel bearing was TOTALLY shot. They took everything apart and found that the last place to have this side apart (Lancaster County Motors, OF COURSE) used several methods of torchure on the hub of my car. Appearances show that the hub was likely heated at some point which caused a deformation, as well as repeated 'blows' with some blunt object. The bearing was absolutely trashed and the plastic parts of the bearing were melted and thrown about the inside of the bearing. Kerven Subaru recently solved this similar problem on the opposite side of the car. Lancaster County Motors Subaru continues to be of no service with regard to this issue. Their continuing disservice is starting to become very disturbing.

Bearings...... hmmmm I don't wanna even think about them.
Enough of them have been replaced at this point and so many times. I know what your talking about to see plastic parts melted and tossed about, or chewed bearings. Or to replace it, have it fail in 6 months to be told " oh well" cough cough B. Brown.
hmm lost the $$ on that, plus part, plus $125 ABS sensor.
DId I piss someone off.. I don't think so, the check was good! I dropped it off came back 2 weeks when told. Came back to a part mess that turned into a nightmare. So I think I fully understand how ya feel. enough money has been spent of fixing the bad repair jobs to do several other things. Gota love a repeat buisness program.

Wonder what they would do if 60 or so SVXes pulled into their parking lot, all wearing signs that say "Lancaster Motors Sucks!"?

That's what I was thinking (which would be the only time we could get 60 or so SVXes together in one place )

Mike,
Your call, bud.

Can we make another detour here please?

After taking my car in to one dealership and one only for the entire time I have had this SVX the last SVX and the other 5 subaru's that I previously owned.... I found that because they could not find the problem with the transmission and I said "it sounds like motor mounts or something when I hit the gas." I guess they figured since it sounded that way to me they would make it that way.

Then we move on to the stuff that they said they fixed but never did.... Now I am having to have that stuff fixed too.

Not to mention the stuff that they said was broken, like the evaporator (really they just drained the gas), the Air Bag control unit (really they just needed to plug the wire back in they must have unplugged while it was there for the colum switch) and some other misc. things... All in all they have replaced my tranny five times and still could not figure out what was wrong I guess they got tired of the warranty work and decided to try to make some cash on the side from other things that were not really broken...

I NEED BIG SIGNS HERE!
