Significant Technical Input Registered SVX
83 convertable

I was selling subaru's then, and we had a simulated convertable brought in on the truck with other new subarus. The SIMULATED CONVERTABLE extra charge was, as I remember $1200. I don't have any records that far back, but it probably sold for around $6000. The woman who bought it (from another sales person) came back, about three weeks later to find out how to open it. It had the regular headliner, interior light and it clearly stated on the bill of sale" simulated". I'm just glad it wasn't me. Anyway, these were converted by a company in CA and distributed thru regular subaru dealers. Tom
