as you might know, I just bought a 97 so I had some time left...
-was first leased in baton rouge, LA in 97 -sold at an auction in 99 w/ 42857 miles on it. -put up for sale with 43350 from Cinn, OH dealership (they must have driven it back). -no records after year 2000. so you have to rely on the word of whomever owed it for the past 3 years. :| arondale

be cautious that it was a leased vehicle. i highly doubt the car was ever broken in properly, specially since the person leasing knew he was not going to keep the car afterward. if it seems to be in good shape and you really think its the right one, I guess you can risk it and go for it...just put some money aside just in case.

I wouldn't have any problems buying a '97 SVX that was leased from new. My own car was a '94 with only 27,000 miles on the clock off a 4 year lease and it was immaculate.
Anyone that could have afforded to lease a $35,000 car back in '97 ain't going to beat it. This ain't no Hertz Neon or Cavalier here...... -Mark
